Collyn Hinchey
As principal designer for commercial, academic and residential interiors around the country, Collyn has worked extensively with project teams at diverse scales and stages of development to create flexible and useful furnishing palettes that complement the existing intentions and sensibilities of a design. Her positioning as an independent partner to client and design teams enables her to work with a comprehensive network of vendors in order to produce impartial suggestions and specifications.
With a concentrated background in art history and literature, Collyn is able to draw on a resonant set of references in order to articulate interior spaces, helping clients to visualize their ideas and connect concrete design elements to them. She is based in her hometown, Wilkes-Barre PA, where she worked for seven years under the mentorship of AIA Gold Medal winner Peter Bohlin at Bohlin Cywinski Jackson.
